Vibroflot is usually fitted with an electric-driven acentric mass near to its bottom tip to displace and densify loose soils. Vibroflot normally is suspended from a crawler crane. The whole process of penetrating the soils relies on the Vibroflot own weight, assisted by the vibration and the jetting of water with compressed air.
